Is Spider Solitaire hard?

It depends on which version you play. Difficulty comes from the number of suits. 1-suit uses only spades and is very forgiving, with win rates above 90 percent once you learn the basics. 2-suit is a real step up, landing somewhere around 50 to 70 percent. 4-suit is genuinely hard, even for strong players, with win rates often in the single digits.
