How to set up Spider Solitaire
Shuffle two standard 52-card decks together for 104 cards. Deal 54 of them face down across 10 columns. The first four columns get 6 cards each, and the remaining six columns get 5 cards each. Then flip the top card of every column face up. The other 50 cards form the stock, set to one side. That is the full setup. From here you build descending sequences and deal a fresh row from the stock whenever you run out of moves. Online, this happens instantly. Open the game and a valid layout deals itself, so you skip the counting and shuffling. Prefer a tougher board? Jump straight to 2-suit or 4-suit.
