How many cards are in Spider Solitaire?

Spider Solitaire uses 104 cards, which is two standard 52-card decks combined. That total holds no matter which difficulty you play, since one-suit, two-suit, and four-suit only change how many suits are printed, not how many cards are dealt. At the start, 54 cards go into the 10 columns: columns 1 through 4 get 6 cards each, and columns 5 through 10 get 5 each. Only the top card of each column starts face up. The other 50 cards form the stock, dealt in five rounds of 10, one card to every column at once. Your goal is to build eight complete King-to-Ace runs from all 104 cards.
