How many decks are used in Spider Solitaire?

Spider Solitaire always uses two standard 52-card decks, so 104 cards total. That never changes with the difficulty setting. One-suit, two-suit, and four-suit all deal the same two decks. The only difference is how many suits appear on those cards. In one-suit, all 104 are printed as spades. In two-suit, they split across spades and hearts. In four-suit, you get the normal mix of all four. So when you pick a difficulty, you are choosing suit variety, not deck count. Of the 104 cards, 54 are dealt to the 10 columns at the start and the remaining 50 sit in the stock, dealt out in five rounds of 10.
