What is a run in Spider Solitaire?

A run, also called a sequence, is a descending chain of same-suit cards. For example, the 10, 9, 8, and 7 of spades in order make a run. Runs matter for two reasons. First, only a same-suit run moves together as a group, so a clean sequence lets you relocate several cards in one action. Mixed sequences still sit neatly on the board, but you can only move the top card. Second, a complete run is all 13 cards from King down to Ace in one suit. The moment you finish one, it clears itself automatically to a foundation and you score points. Build eight complete runs and you win the game.
