What is a Spiderette in Spider Solitaire?

Spiderette is a smaller, one-deck cousin of Spider, not the standard game. It uses a single 52-card deck dealt across 7 columns, like a cross between Spider and Klondike. The rules feel familiar: you build downward and clear complete same-suit runs, but with half the cards and fewer columns the games are shorter and play differently. Because there is only one deck, you complete four runs instead of eight. Spiderette is a fine quick variant, but it is not what most people mean by Spider Solitaire, and it is not what this site plays. Here you get the full two-deck game (104 cards, 10 columns) at 1-suit, 2-suit, and 4-suit.
