What percentage of Spider Solitaire games are winnable?

It depends on the suit count and your skill. For experienced players, 1-suit wins about 90% or more of the time, 2-suit lands around 50 to 70%, and 4-suit drops to roughly 6 to 10%. The suit count is the reason. A group of cards only moves as a unit when it is a same-suit descending run, so more suits mean fewer legal group moves and more games that stall. In theory, about 35% of 4-suit deals are winnable with perfect play, but perfect play does not exist in practice, which is why real win rates fall to single digits. Skill still matters a lot. Start with 1-suit, then step up to 2-suit as you improve.
